I picked this up during the Sephora’s VIB sale in December. The notes looked appealing although I was a bit unsure whether I will like it, because of the violet note. You know that I am what I call, “Violet Virgin”
I got it a few days later in mail and upon spraying, I was like hmmm this is interesting, I am not sure what I think about it. It is fair to say, at the time, I didn’t have anything in my collection with a similar profile.
As the day went on, I found myself sniffing where I had sprayed it to inhale more of this gorgeous scent in. This is one of those beauties that it seems so simple at first that you don’t pay attention to it, then before you know it you are addicted to it out of no where.
Have you smelled anything that was so innocent and pure, but so much so that you found it super attractive, arousing all senses? This is one of them.
The cardamom on top is very gentle, brings a touch of naughtiness to the fragrance. The combination of mimosa and violet in the mid evokes all the feeling of innocence and pureness. Do I need to talk about my most favourite part in dry down, when I get a gorgeous blend of violet, tonka, and vanilla??
I must say this is not the prettiest bottle that I own, but definitely is and will be one of the favourites for a while. I am curious about other fragrances from Phlur now, and thinking about trying missing persons and somebody wood..
What’s your favorite innocent but sexy fragrance? Do you have favourites from Phlur?
